Physical Education

The aim of Physical Education is to provide a positive learning environment so as to encourage the “harmonious development of the students’ body and mind”.

Within this programme unique opportunities exist to build on individual social competence when students engage in the challenges offsports-cartoonsered by physical experiences.

We recently achieved Charter Standard status in football and have been awarded the top Charter Standard School in Devon.

Each student in years seven to nine has one lesson of Physical Education and one lesson of games each week.

Students in years ten, eleven and twelve have one lesson each week. Each lesson is of one hour duration.

Students are entered for representative honours and fixtures are played in a wide range of sports.

Extras in PE:

Regularly attend extra curricular clubs

Take an active part in sports/actvities within your leisure time

Keep up to date with sport related news

Attend sports events to get an insight into elite level sport.
