As
part of the celebrations we have made arrangements
with the local STEAM RAILWAY TRUST for students
to travel to school on Friday 12th October
using the steam train as was the case 50 years
ago.
There will be no charge for the journey.
The
train will pick up students at 3 points:
- 8.00am
at Paignton Station

8.05am at Goodrington Station
-
8.20am Students will be dropped at Churston
Station
- 8.25am
Train leaves Churston Station
-
8.35am approx. Kingswear Station –
arrive at Churston Station 8.50am
We
would like all students to come to school
in 50’s style dress, (school uniform
would be brilliant!) examples will be modelled
during school assemblies.
The Dart Valley Railway is offering prizes
of Round Robin Tickets for the Best Dressed
Adults and Best Dressed Students.
Parents
are welcome to use the train in the morning
at these times.
The
train WILL take back to PAIGNTON any relatives
of students who are travelling to Churston
with students on the morning of the 12th October.
