Students
from Years 9 & 11 were invited to a multi
media presentation exploring the science behind
climate change from a Christian perspective and
its impact on people and the planet.
Lively,
sometimes passionate, presentations were given
on the science of global warming and the other
environmental issues we are all facing.
Students
were asked to think what a child in a poor African
country might want to say to them - and 'swap
places' was one of the answers given. At the end,
everyone was asked to think about possible personal
action: a good test of whether the speakers had
got through to them. To judge by the responses,
mostly practical, some humorous, they had.
