Hi

I’m Jo Somerfield and I’m the Chair of your PTA. We are a group of parents who volunteer our time to organize and run events to raise funds for the school.

Some of the money we raise is used to buy things that the school would like but is unable to afford from its budget and some may be used to help the school to achieve “match-funding” on larger projects. Currently we are saving to buy a new water-cooled fountain for the Cube.

Purchases so far include: Video conferencing facility, Entrance hall flat screen, Camera, Author visit to Yr9, and new school hall curtains.

You can help by;

Volunteering some time to help at events or join the committee

Donating Prizes for Raffles/Bingo nights etc

Making a cash donation (Cheques payable to Churston Ferrers Grammar School PTA)

Coming and having fun at one of the ‘do’s’!
