Churston
Sixth Former Eleanor Healey scored an amazing
100% in last summer’s A-level Chemistry
exams, and she also beat 9000 other students
throughout the U.K. to achieve the best marks
in a research investigation.
This
fantastic double success was recently celebrated
at a prestigious awards ceremony in London.
Eleanor
was the lucky recipient of cash prizes from
the Salters’ Institute, where she enjoyed
a superb lunch with guests, before returning
to the University of Cambridge where she is
now reading Natural Sciences.
Dr
Chris Hall, the Head of Science at Churston,
who was Eleanor’s Chemistry teacher for
3 years, is delighted that her exceptional ability
and hard work have been so well rewarded.
