On
Thursday 1st November, Churston Ferrers Grammar
School hosted its first ever Year 3 Badminton
Festival. It was heralded a resounding success
by Dena Badminton Development Officer, Sue
Jarvis as well as teachers from White Rock
and Roselands Primary Schools.
The
festival was run by Year 10 students under
the watchful eye of PE teachers Sarah Hoff
and Martin Swanell - the new Head of PE at
Churston.
“All
50 Year 10 students did a great job today
and it has been a very valuable experience
for them, especially in terms of social and
interpersonal skills.” Bob Owers –

All
the students have now passed their Badminton
Young Helper Award and will receive the award
at gold level.
