Veterans’ Day 2011

On 11th May, Churston welcomed back members of the Normandy Veterans Association for its annual “Veterans’ Day.” Veterans of D-Day, as well as those who were active in the Pacific Campaigns and later conflicts, were on hand to meet Year 9 students. Music Success

Churston Ferrers Grammar School Funk Band plus individual winners Eloise Kendall and Katherine Amey were successful in the South West Music Festival at Palace Theatre, Paignton held between 28th April and 7th May. The students competed in their chosen classes. The Annual Music Festival awarded trophies at a final gala concert for the best in class and best overall trophies.
