Berlin Trip
In February 2010, 40 students went to Berlin in the depths of the snow and ice. It was an excellent trip with the students visiting all of the main sites of Historical interest including Sachenhausen Concentration Camp, the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, the Reichstag and numerous museums. Veterans Visit
Year 9 students met with veterans of the D-Day and Pacific campaigns of World War Two, as well as veterans of later conflicts in Malaya. The Brixham Battery Heritage Group and the Lady Cable Association were also on hand (the Brixham Battery displayed weapons and equipment, as well as teaching students about the function of the Battery, while the Lady Cable Association taught students about one of the ‘little ships’...
